Jonathan P. Spira

Jonathan Spira has been building and managing companies in the technology and consumer products sectors for the past 25 years. Jonathan has helped enterprise software, SaaS & internet, EV / FCEV, network security and consumer-product companies grow dramatically and profitably, while building significant value for investors.

A finance and operations executive, Mr. Spira specializes in early-stage technology firms. In addition to his Business Advisory Practice at J. Phineas International, Jonathan served as chief financial officer at several companies including EV Micromobility manufacturer Ryvid, Enterprise SaaS platforms Impartner & BROWZ, FCEV manufacturer Nikola Motors, blinkx, a publicly-traded media company, Packethop, a wireless networking company, Atrenta, a developer of Electronic Design Automation applications; ePeople, a developer of Web-based customer relationship management solutions; and Autonomy Corp., a publicly-traded enterprise software company, where Jonathan spearheaded a successful IPO in 1998.

Jonathan also held senior finance and planning positions at Walt Disney Co., PepsiCo Inc. and Nestlé Food Company and worked as a consultant in KPMG's Merger & Acquisition practice. Jonathan is a member of Financial Executives International and is an adherent and advocate of its Code of Ethics for senior financial executives.

While a college student, Jonathan started his first automotive services business, importing late model English and German and luxury cars for private clients. J Phineas Vintage Motorcars, is the result of Jonathan's passion for restoring vintage motorcars. Mr. Spira is a three time, past-Chair of the Hillsborough Concours d'Elegance, the longest, continuously running classic car event west of the Mississippi River.

Jonathan earned a Masters in Business Administration from Cornell University, where he was also awarded the university's Robinson-Appel Humanitarian Award. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Kenyon College.
